Several years ago, Ty needed a hobby. He did some looking around and landed on pen making. We invested in the lathes and other pieces of necessary equipment, along with blanks, kits and all things necessary for creating a writing pen. He has been known to make a few others things as well… keychains and seam rippers are amongst them. He’s always evolving and exploring and experimenting with crafting other instruments and utensils. But for now, he’s honed his pen making skills down to a pretty unique product. His pens have been sold and/or given, to many people across the country, each one being received with the same exclamation of “WOW! This is gorgeous! You made this?!”
The cool thing about his pen making is, you can have as many blanks (wood or acrylic) as you want of the same wood or color, but each one is unique. No two pens are exactly the same. What is not to love about having something as unique as we are as individuals?!
While crafting with both wood and acrylic blanks, his favorite medium is wood. One might think there are only about 10 species of trees in the world, but trust me, there are WAY MORE than you could ever imagine and it is FUN to be able to pick out each single blank!
Writing pens, unique, each one being a one-of-a-kind piece of art. No two pens are alike, even though they may be crafted from the same type of wood and/or acrylic.
Wooden pens can be personalized with your name or a company logo.
